Step-by-step guide

After installation from Google Workspace Marketplace, open any Google Doc and go to Extensions → ScribeChrono → New transcription.
First connection: Google shows an authorization screen. Approve it to allow ScribeChrono to insert text in your document.
In the ScribeChrono sidebar, click Add transcription and upload or drag-and-drop your file. We support MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, MOV, WEBM, and more.

Yes. Your audio is not used to train public models. Files and transcripts are encrypted, kept under your account, and can be deleted anytime from your dashboard.
Most common audio (MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG) and video (MP4, MOV, WEBM) formats. Video audio is extracted automatically before transcription.
This is standard for Workspace add-ons. ScribeChrono needs document access to insert text and a sidebar to show the upload interface — nothing beyond what is listed on this page.
